Honeysuckle what a place! | We needed a weekend away from the wear and tear of everyday life, but where to go was the question. We couldn't go far with only a few days. We've been to Gatlinburg & Pigeon Forge & that is ok but we wanted to be alone without the noise & busyness around us. So my husband got online & found the Honeysuckle. It was perfect, exactly what we were looking for quiet, romantic & peaceful yet close to the Cumberland County Playhouse where we could catch a show & Fall Creek Falls where we could hike. Our stay was perfect!! Do not miss the breakfast absolutely delicious. We didn't even eat lunch afterwards. If you go before they run out of strawberry jam be sure you try some it's great. We didn't get to try the pizza but we'll definitely get one when we go back. Ilaeka and Papa Phil are great, very welcoming & informative, I ask lots of gardening questions. You couldn't ask for a better place to stay. The sunrise is perfect.Don't miss fern forest it is a site tosee. We can't wait to get back. |
