Awesome weekend | This weekend couldnt have gone smoother. House was ready and waiting for us with a fire already going in the wood burning furnace. House is already furnished w/ everything you need - blankets, kitchenware, firewood, spaceheaters in every room. My favorite part was the wood burning furnace - we didnt know that's the main heat for the house so the first nite it got pretty cold in there (down to mid 50's). Next morning I made one for fun and noticed the thermostat went up pretty quick - before we knew it, it was over 70 in there - just keep the fire going. All the bedrooms were clean and very warm w/ the spaceheaters. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need including forks/ knives/ dishes/ cups/ pots/ pans. And when you go stick to the owners driving directions - you might think you made a wrong turn but his directions are dead on. Just be aware the house is very very secluded which is what we wanted but it's not for everyone. But I cant wait to go back |
