Great Beach House for Two! | This little house was fantastic! Newly renovated with nice hardwood floors, screened porch to escape the NC mosquitoes, comfy couches and creative interior and exterior design. As a graphic designer I appreciated that. I loved the electric grill even though I'm religiously a charcoal man. I came toting a small dog which I wouldn't recommend because the local beaches are not pet friendly (on or off leash). You must travel to Ft. Fisher about 10 minutes away. Also, it's a pretty good hike with beach gear if you plan on walking to the closest beach, I would rec. hopping in the car and parking at one of the public parking areas if you are carrying more than a few things. Boardwalk BINGO was a blast, make sure you grab some Britt's Doughnuts while you are there! To sum it up, great house, great location, fun beach and plenty of activities and shopping between Wilmington and Southport. |
