Sat Apr 25		Spring in the Upper Westside	This was our 4th trip to New York in 4 years - we always stay in the Upper Westside which we love as you really feel you're in a residential but vibrant neighbourhood with great places to eat in the evening (or any time of day). We chose the apartment for its location and chose well! The apartment has good facilities for self catering although we always went out to eat. It was very quiet, especially for sleeping, and we enjoyed the fact we were in a real residential block where New Yorkers were coming and going too. If being picky, the shower would benefit from a proper showerhead as it's like standing under a tap(!) and the bedroom would benefit from bedside lamps. We liked the fact we could open the bathroom window to air the apartment as the hot pipes in the rooms made it very warm at times. That said, it was very clean and comfortable and we had a great time in NYC as always.
