Wed Oct 14		Foliage lovers rejoice	We really enjoyed our stay in this cabin. They've done a lot of work on the place, and the porch, furniture and decorating are great. Owner is friendly. But most of all, you just can't beat the views--they made it worth every penny. You are in the middle of nowhere overlooking a few farms across the valley. Just completely idyllic, and the perfect escape for us country kids living in NYC. There were a few things that could have been better, but weren't enough to make for a bad experience: the appliances were old, so the fridge was noisy and the microwave didn't have enough chutzpah to pop the popcorn. There is no cable or DVDs, just some local TV stations, so we went into town and bought some DVDs. Also, this cabin is NOT in Catskill, NY. It's in S. Kortright, which is IN the Catskills. This made for a longer drive than we were planning. Make sure to get very specific directions from the owner--Google maps couldn't even get us off the main highway correctly, and then the cabin is really tucked away and it's easy to get turned around up there.
