Tue Jul 29		My new happy place	The cabin on Long Pond was wonderful. It's not fancy, but it is clean and comfortable and just right. The bed is soft, the view of the pond is gorgeous, and we never had to contend with a crowd. We loved taking the paddling around and swimming in the pond (much warmer than Maine's ocean water). Our favorite neighbors were the hummingbirds. Our favorite cabin amenities were the mosaic chicken lamp and the canoe.
