This house has everything you need... | My family and I stayed at the Duck Cottage for the Labor Day weekend. The house looks as though it was recently renovated. There was plenty of space for all and the amenities were fantastic. Our group was 5 adults - but there were enough beds for 4 couples to sleep comfortably. The setting in the back yard is just perfect. There are two picnic tables (enough room to sit 12) and two Adirondack style chairs with a little table between the them that are setup to overlook a pretty inlet with a pier. There is a Weber grill that we used to cook burgers and dogs and a brick grill with a chimney(uncovered) that we used to grill corn at the same time...perfect for BBQing! Also, the house came with a two person kayak which made for great exercise after cooking. It is a short row from the pier out into the Mattituck bay. The house is only about two miles away from Lover Lane which made it a convenient location. The owner Kate was very friendly and accommodating. We had a great time and would hig |
