Wed May 20		Schyler Lake with the Family	We needed a place to house myself, my parent, my sister and her husband plus their 2 kids. This house easily accommodated us for sleeping and leisure space. Only one bathroom, but another one was in the works, so I think that will soon change. With such a large crew, we were also wishing for a dish washer, but you can't have it all for such a reasonable price. I was doing lots of planning in Cooperstown and found the drive pleasant and short enough to be convenient. From driveway to parking spot I would plan 15 minutes. The house itself is rustic and semi-modern at the same time. The heat works great and theirs plenty of hot water. The house feels lived in, like your visiting a family friend. The view and yard were beautiful. Lots of space for everyone to do whatever they wanted. The kids (2 and 4) had a blast inside and out, which is always a big bonus for families. Easy to find and over-all a nice stay!
