Sun Sep 27 Sunsets overlooking Gilligan's Island marina As far as I'm concerned, having a condo with a kitchen is the only way to go in Hawaii. We had the marina (west) facing condo and enjoyed the sunsets and view over the marina that was shown at the beginning of each Gilligan's Island show. My cousin had a condo facing the lagoon on the other side of the building. Her room was always shaded (which can be nice) but we had the better view though it is a matter of preference. The wifi service was good and I was able to check Hawaii web sites, etc. (bring your own laptop). One drawback. Don't count on the front desk for good information. They won't tell you about the lower priced OVERNIGHT public parking behind the hotel and will direct you to more expensive operations though the front desk is not part of the condo company.
