Beautiful, clean, convenient, artistic, | I came to Austin with 5 students for the Clinton Global Intitiative University. A hotel was out of our budget and we are so grateful we found the Eastside Inn. It was cozier, more elegant, more refreshing than a hotel and far more affordable! And Kathy could not have been sweeter, true Texan hospitality. There are two beds and a futon and while we didn't need a blow up matress, it made the sleeping arrangements more comfortable. She brought one over the moment we asked. It was within walking distance of the Convention Center and sixth street, altough I wouldn't walk it late at night. If you are heading to Austin, skip the hotel and stay at the Eastside Inn. Oh, and if you cook....the kitchen is dynamite. Thanks Kathy! |
