what a place!!! | Renting from photos made me a bit nervous since this was my big vacation but it was everything and even more then what you see in the photos. What a peaceful, quiet, restful place and yet, close to stores and towns. We had a great time visiting Bar Harbor and Arcadia a number of times. There are many things to do or just nothing. The house was clean, kitchen was big, rooms plentiful.. everything was new - we enjoyed ourselves so much and are talking about visiting Edgewater again next year (we still need to see a few more things in Aradia). Liz Slater was helpful in telling us what was around - she was right on. All I have to say is this place was big enough for 3 adults and 3 kids and small enough to make it cozy. I wish I had the guts to visit it in the winter!!! Oh, also, the water, right there, was clear but cold...that was what the kids said when they got out! |
