Snowy retreat | We spent 4 days at the house. We had 8 people in our group, 5 adults and 3 children. There was plenty of room for everyone to have a bedroom to themselves. The house was well equipped with appliances, linens, and dishes. The only problem we encountered was the fireplace upstairs. We tried to use it twice and the smoke would blow into the house instead of up the chimney. It was not near anything but the drive into Boone was not bad. The children liked having the room outside to play and hike. Overall we enjoyed the house and would stay there again! |
