Perfect Honeymoon | The weeks leading up to our wedding were extremely hectic, so this was the perfect place to recoup! We canoed the bay at high tide, biked around, explored the beach, and spent a few hours watching eagles and osprey from the porch. We also made a couple of day trips to Acadia and Bar Harbor. The cabin itself is full of woodsy-seaside charm and left us wanting for nothing. The only disappointment was that the gobs of blueberries growing in the fields are not to be picked as they are owned by local farmers... but the ones we bought from the roadside stand were delicious! We definitely plan on returning to this small slice of perfection! |
