Absolutely Charming | We were absolutely enchanted by the blue feather cottage. The surroundings are lovely, a large grassy orchard with fruit and nut trees and a little gazebo. You have a great view of the hills in the region. Alhough you are fairly close to the owner's house it is behind you and the cottage feels very private. The living area is roomy and there is a nice kitchen. The bed was luxuriously soft and had luxury linens ( I am a bed linen snob). The bathroom is small but charming with soft fluffy towels. You feel like you are in the country, but it is very close to all the amenities of Ashland. The owner is delightful and welcoming but not at all intrusive. She presented us with a jar of homemade berry compote on our arrival. We loved the property and can't wait to go back. |
