Great Maine getaway | We found the property to be comfortable, clean and well appointed. The property features a huge deck on the back of the house which overlooks the crashing surf.During our stay we enjoyed regular visits from 3 local foxes, several chipmunks, 3 sea otters, an osprey and a porcupine. The owners loaned us bikes which we rode through the Schoodic Peninsula Park, it was awesome. The property is ideally situated between Acadia National Park and Wild Blueberry Land which we highly recommend if you like pies that bring their A game. In nearby Birch Harbor there is also a place to rent Kayaks. We found the owner John to be very helpful in answering questions about the area and the property. |
