Great apartment, great location | We feel really lucky to have found Elaine & Tony's apartment in New York for our first family holiday to USA. The apartment is lovely - bright, clean and really well stocked and was perfect for our family of 5, including 2 teenagers. The location is fantastic, really close to subway, buses and with great restuarants/shops nearby. We particularly like "Good enough to eat" at 483 Amsterdam Avenue for breakfast and for dinner, "Al Dente" on corner of Amsterdam & 80th, about 2 minute walk from the apartment. Definitely worth a visit is "Fairways" supermarket at 212 Broadway - as I'm coeliac I have to eat a gluten free diet and 2nd floor in Fairways has a fantastic selection of gluten free and organic foods. Also fruit & veg is amazing. Overall, a brilliant first taste of NY which has left us all wanting to return soon. Finally thanks to Elaine & Tony who were great to deal with at all times. We will be back......... |
