Like a B&B (only without the staff) | My mother, sister, and a number of cousins stayed at the Avondale property for a big cousins' reunion. Every bed in the house was used (save for the singles that are with the queen-sized beds in the downstairs bedrooms). There was never a feeling of being overcrowded. Everyone loved the views outside and the rustic (but not chintzy) decor inside. The property is well appointed and a number of people took advantage of the wireless router. This was like a B&B, only without the staff. And with the costs of room and board (and we ate very well!)split between the participants, this was a bargain to beat all bargains. |
