Serene cottage | The cottage in Riolo, bagni di Lucca provided a wonderful retreat from the everyday stresses. The magnificent views of the mountains, the warm sunshine, the sounds of silence in the early morning hours, and the refreshing mountain drinking water where delightful. Bagni di Lucca ws nearby and in it we were able to purchase all the food and items we needed for our stay. It also was a lovely town to meander in. The mountain road up to the cottage was a little tight, but using precautions while driving, it was no problem at all. The cities of Lucca, Pisa and Florence were within distance for a day trip. I recommend it highly to anyone wishing to enjoy the best of the area near Lucca. |
