Family Fun & Relaxation - Something for everyone | This cabin truly has all the Creature Comforts and then some! We awoke some mornings surrounded by clouds/mist and felt like we'd traveled to heaven. Cabin has fantastic views, and yet is close enough to town, the Krogers (with it's own Starbuxs) and the National Park to keep everyone entertained - you'll find Ziplining, Horseback Riding and great hiking within minutes. That's if you decide to leave the cabin - because there is really enough there to keep you occupied for days. I almost wished for rain just for an excuse to stay in and read a good book. Husband saw two great football games in the Media Room and was hooked. You know you've found the right cabin - when your husband keeps repeating "boy, you did great finding this place honey"!! The kids (17 & 25) also loved the ability to stay connected through the internet. They played pool, air hockey while hubby & I played Parchesi, and we all enjoyed the sauna & hot tub. But mostly I enjoyed the breathtaking views, the sunsets, and the mountain air while I knit in the rockers. We came back from a day exploring one afternoon to find wild turkey in the driveway! Can't wait to return to this paradise and to the friendly people in this area. Thanks to the Lacayos for sharing their piece of heaven with us all. They made the rental process simple & were very helpful! Shoppers Hint: Moonshine Ridge Country Store nearby has great homemade fudge, crafts & other goodies with a fantastic cafe! |
