Relaxing | We spent a wonderful and relaxing week at casa maria. Although in the middle of a bustling city, once inside and surrounded on all sides by the high walls, you have total privacy and quiet. The house is nicely decorated and comfortable; my wife loved all the pastel shades. The lap pool was surprizing large although a bit cold during our January stay. Although the historic district is not within walking distance, its an easy 5-10 minute car ride(private parking lots in the center were plentiful and inexpensive). And lots of good and inexpensive restaraunts (and shopping) can be found close by. A great alternative to a downtown hotel (as long as like us, you can forego the maid service). |
