INCREDIBLY BEAUTIFUL!!! | Our "Blue Feather Cottage" experience was nothing short of WONDERFUL!!! Susanna & family were welcoming and kind and helpful about what to do in the area and where to get great eats. Though they live on the property (2 acres away in a fabulous 1850's Victorian home), the cottage faces toward the Mountains, away from the house and we had COMPLETE privacy! The 100 year old trees, the beautifully kept gardens, and the incredible views from every angle...are nothing short of breathtaking and the cottage was comfortable and warm and cozy! The beds were VERY comfortable and the place was immaculate! We stayed 4 days and wished we could have stayed a month! The kitchen is so complete that we even baked our own fresh blackberry pie (the place abounds with fruit that is given to the cottage guests and they also provided fresh veggies for our BBQ!) This was the "get away" we really needed and we WILL be back for the ski season. MOST ROMANTIC PLACE WE'VE EVER STAYED! - Sandy & Frank & "Babies" |
