Relaxation & simple pleasures | I haven't felt as relaxed & as peaceful in years as I did during the week my family spent at this precious & very roomy cottage on trendy 30A. Morning coffee on the porch rocker, walks to Ms. Lucille's Gossip Parlor for croissants or to the Key Lime Cafe for lemon squares, afternoons burying my toes in sand at the beautiful white & emerald beaches, fresh fish from GoatFeathers across the street and Saturday afternoons at the nearby SeaSide street market were just a few of my many, many pleasures. The kids all had their own rooms and baths giving everyone space. The WIFI was just perfect for working from "home." At the end of the week, I'd forgotten the past three years of stress....or even that I was running from yet another serious hurricane back home in Louisiana. I can't imagine that anywhere else would have been a better spot for my family during that time. My 30A will always be in my heart and a part of my precious family memories with our kids. I dream of my own 30A cottage |
