Smitten in the Adirondacks | Actually, smitten with my girlfriend in Long Island. I wanted a quiet, quaint retreat for two ( + wee 'lil Pug dog ) where I could meet Laura in the "middle of the road". This cottage exceeded expectations. This was our first Groundhog Day celebration together which we truly enjoyed despite our stuffed animal 'chuck, named Carl, (after Bill Murray's devout role in Caddyshack )seeing his shadow next to the cottage. Great base cottage for exploring the 'Gunks, gum-shoeing New Platz's shops and then lounging around afterwards. Just terrific. |
