Lovely Oasis! | Mariner's Crossing is a beautiful, private little cottage on the "quiet side" of lovely Mount Desert Island. The view of the ocean from the porch was stunning--it's lovely to wake up in the morning and look at the view through the kitchen window while making breakfast, and enjoy a cup of coffee while watching the ferry cross to Swan's Island or the herons fishing in the marsh. The house is simple and quaint, but extremely charming and a fantastic place to relax. The house was clean, nicely furnished, and complete with all modern amenities. All in all, a wonderful vacation! |
