A Place to Unwind | What an awesome place to unwind. The view on the deck is worth the weekly fee. Imagine drinking your morning coffee on a deck that overlooks a wall of beautiful pines, ferns, other plants of each green imaginable, and watch a family of mallard ducks, Canadian geese, or river otters play across the river. Later in the day watch the fish lazily swim over the submerged rocks. If you like to keep busy, we planned a different activity each day of the week for our kids. We could have stayed another week just so they could see a small part of what the area has to see. We have stayed at various places on the Rogue and Deschutes and this has been the prettiest place we have stayed at so far. The path to the river is not for the disabled, but the view is spectacular! |
