All the Comforts of Home | Jackie has done an incredible job decorating Hawthorn cottage with comfortable furnishing that make you feel at home. Tastefully done, all of the comforts are provided. Bath and bed linens are high quality and the place is spotless. The beach and center of the town are a block and a half away. Town library is around the corner. Washington’s birthplace, Robert E. Lee’s boyhood home and Westmoreland State Park (including Fossil Beach, a natural beach where shark’s teeth can be found) are a must see. Jackie provides other information on local sites(winery & berry farm). The town is a journey back to a time where life was uncomlicated and peaceful. You will want to return to this charming home with its close-in location and peaceful atmosphere. |
