Back home in West Seattle | This was our second visit to The Captain's House. It had been a year since our last stay and it was as we had never left. This will be our "home" in West Seattle as long as it is available. This was a memorable visit because we had the privilege of meeting "The Captain" this time. |

One Week in West Seattle | This house was a very comfortable place for us while we visited our grand children in West Seattle for a week. We enjoyed walking to the water's edge and hiking Beach Street to Alki Beach and the Alki Point light house. The house was in good condition and contained most everything it was advertised to have. We couldn't find the toaster but that wasn't a deal breaker. The grand children loved the house and looked forward to coming over for dinner. We enjoyed not having to go to restaurants for meals. We missed having a neighborhood store for odds and ends but we got what we needed at Safeway near Admiral and California. The best thing I could say about this property is that I would have no trouble going back to the same house on my next visit to West Seattle. |
