A must for Boaters & Families | Were not into fishing but on this trip our kids actually fished for their first time. The bait shop was just down the road and the owner let us use a couple poles for the kids. The kids were never so excited catching their first fish and it seemed pretty easy to catch them (don't ask me what kind) it didn't matter a catch was a catch. The cottage was very clean and cozy. I never turned the tv on in the sun room, it was so peaceful to sit there and watch all the boats and activity on the water. Oh... and we saw a Bald Eagle fly from the wooded land across the river...what a site. The kids also used the bikes to ride around the neighborhood. It was very quiet during the week and also safe for the kids to ride around since its like a closed in community with only one road leading in so no traffic. This was our first time here and the kids are already asking if were going back next year. Lots to do or just relax on the hammock. Also the sky at nite time was like being at the planetarium. |
