"Gem" of a Home! | Gem Capitol of North Carolina. The house was Great! We felt sooo at home here. We just loved sitting on the deck a.m. and p.m. and looking out at the mountains! While we were here we tried our hand at gem mining (found some small stones to take home), went white water rafting (our First time) and took an overnite trip to Wilmington(saw the Battleship North Carolina... Awesome!) Coming back to the house each nite was just like coming home!! We did have Ping Pong competition every nite ( the youngsters won!) We would definitly stay here again if we're ever in the neighborhood! Tom and Carol were friendly, helpful and very Gracious through the whole renting process! This was our first vacation rental, and if everyone else are like the Hopkins',we will surely rent again!! Thanks so Much!! The Hansen Family |
