A Maine vacation with all the comforts of home... | Cape Elizabeth and this property is far more than you can expect from the pictures. Every room is furnished with taste and larger than it appears. The kitchen had every necessity and more. The views during both high and low tide were spectacular. Portland Head Light is very close as well as a wilderness area for great hiking. This location is a great base for any Maine vacation. The old waterfront of Portland is great shopping, sailing and dining. Be sure to visit Standard Bakery on Commercial Street for fantastic breads and Micucci Grocery on India Street for every thing Italian. Andy's Old Port Pub was a hidden treasure for great lunches. Live lobster was only $3.99/lb at any fish market in old Portland. This was our third vacation in Maine and by far the most enjoyable because this home accommodated our entire 7 member family with space and views from a postcard. |
