Best Rustic vacation! | My husband & I were seeking a last minute getaway when out of town company canceled unexpectedly and we already had time off. So, we looked at a bunch of cabins and pictures and loved this one. MJ graciously allowed us to book our reservation at the very last minute and we had a wonderful time. On Sunday we spent the day reading and relaxing - me in the hammock & my husband in the recliner watching football. As someone tethered to a blackberry 24/7 (and in the news business no less) it was great that the cell phone didn't ring all weekend! We spent Saturday in Highlands shopping and had great pizza at the Pizza Palace and a fabulous (cheap!) breakfast in the Main Street Pharmacy - they have 7 tables in the back and fantastic blueberry pancakes & biscuits. A great cabin, a great weekend and great people in MJ & Scott who make it all possible. ~Trish |
