Family Fun in Florida | We had a great time in Cocoa Beach. The condo was very comfortable and quiet. The hosts Sam and Rose were very friendly and helpful. The beach, pool, and pier were very close and loads of fun. Our family enjoyed touring Kennedy Space Center -- very cool stuff! The great thing is that you can visit twice for the admission price -- the bus tour is very good and the Imax movie on the International Space Station is absolutlely outstanding. Our teenagers really had a good time body surfing the waves. Ron Jon's Surf Shop is just a few blocks away and is open 24/7 if you can believe that. The beaches in front of Patrick AFB are really nice and not at all crowded -- there are no hotels on the each by the base. There is a great place to eat in Port Canaveral called Zachary's -- excellent Greek food and more. Looks like the astronauts have been there often -- judging from the autographed photos. Fresh seafood is available lots of places at very reasonable prices -- love those s |
