A pleasant and quiet getaway! | The cabin was beautifully equipped and very comfortable with good beds and linens. Only negatives: no screens so we could not open the windows and enjoy the night sounds. Picky, picky...couldn't find a strainer/colander. And, the wide screen TV needs to be fully programmed so as to avoid having to use two remotes! The pond was mysteriously low. Fishing was difficult, but we caught three little sunfish! The Stanley pool is a treasure, and the Exxon station convenience store was handy, and the owners very friendly. The rescue zoo has a fabulous collection of reptiles, birds and unusual mammals. We will probably see you next year! |
