Really lives up to the description | I had a wonderful time staying at Loft 3 with my wife and 4-year-old son. The amenities were many: full-size washer/dryer, whirlpool bath, WIFI, lots of excellent city guides, a large sectional that's very comfy to sleep on, wood stove, widescreen TV, etc. The apartment looks just like it does in the photos, but even better. The woodwork and exposed stonewalls are really lovely. It's only a couple of minutes walk to Place Jacques-Cartier and the Vieux-Port. And if you have kids, there are more nearby ice cream shops aplenty. A couple of caveats, applying mainly to those with small children. The mezzanine with the bed is a bit dicey. You'll have to keep a very close eye on them, as there are few vertical supports to prevent an accident. Also, the beautiful period windows on the main floor have very low sills, again requiring very close supervision of a young child (or just keeping them closed, as we did). Also, Rue St-Paul can be rather noisy on a weekend night. |
