lawn ,large deck, fireplace ( free wood) if your just
looking for low cost lodging and don't need that waterfront. This area is right in the center of Maine and a mile outside of Abbot Village, on a 100 acre lot. Spend your extra money on your activities, not your lodging. ( Rates between 250 & 400 / week )This is a 60 x 14 single mobile home, not a trailer park. With the deck it has over 1000 feet of floor space, bigger than a lot of small homes. Although the trailer is next to my house, there is still plenty of privacy. There is a small lawn in behind the trailer, and a large yard with a swing-set for children, a hill outback for sliding in the winter, an outside fireplace for summer enjoyment, and lots of area for walking or playing. There is a beach about a mile away for swimming. Also the trailer is located within driving distance of some of the best spots in Maine for hiking, white water rafting , hunting, snowmobiling, skiing, and other activites
If your here just to relax, read a book and do nothing , Thats great you deserve it. Perhaps our local bakery , craft shops and less than "world known" nearby waterfalls, and geological formations and slate quarries might draw you out .

Area Description

Abbot is centrally located in Maine ,We are about an hours drive or closer from alot of Maines senic and recreational areas.(its futher to see the light houses and tourists on the coast). Whitewater rafting , mountain climbing, 2 Covered Bridges, local waterfalls and Moxie Falls, Moose watching, boat and ATV rentals are all with in easy driving range. Being out in the country you may see deer , turkeys ,small wild game and a moose once in a while right on the back lawn.
There is a man made frog pond about 100 yards from the mobile home ,from late April into August you will hear the chirping frogs and their mating calls fill the evening and night time air.
Bald Eagles are not uncommon in this area, occasionally you will even see them "guarding " the frog pond.
