Description of the Acton vacation cottage rental

White shingle cottage with green trim, screened in porch on the two sides facing the water.
All windows are screened. Side patio has a gas grill and picnic table. It also has floodlights for night use.
Lake front is grass with flowerbeds at both ends. Renter is the only one allowed on the property unless invited by renters. Located At Mousam Lake. Great drinking water from 300ft well test results are posted. No chemicals are added to the water.
Lake front is landscaped and flat with grass front lawn. Flood lights are provided for night swimming or bbq under the stars.
Super kitchen with new electric stove, dishwasher, microwave, and most home appliances.
Bath has shower no tub.
Great fishing even from boat dock.
Beds are made and ready to sleep in, no change of linen is supplied.
No telephone is supplied but there is cell phone service to most cell phones.

ALL DOGS MUST HAVE CAGES OR CRATES AT THE TIME OF CHECK IN, THIS IS A MUST IF YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR DOG OR DOGS. WE HAD SEVERE DAMAGE LAST YEAR FROM DOGS TRYING TO GET OUT FROM A STRANGE ENVIRONMENT.

Area Information

Located in wooded area on a dead end avenue. Acton Fairgrounds close by. No neighbors on same side of avenue.
1 cottage at end of road and 2 on other side of avenue.
Avenue is a typical quiet country Rd. except on the 4th of July when the lake is lit up with fireworks. A great view of the sunrise over the lake. No traffic, no street lights, A great spot to take it easy and do your own thing. Plenty of parking for your visitors.

ALL DOGS MUST HAVE CAGES OR CRATES AT THE TIME OF CHECK IN. THIS IS A MUST IF YOU WANT TO BRING YOUR DOG OR DOGS. LAST YEAR WE HAD TWO DOORS BADLY DAMAGED FROM DOGS TRYING TO GET OUT WHEN LEFT ALONE IN A STRANGE ENVIRONMENT.
NO LAND-LINE TELEPHONE SERVICE IS SUPPLIED.
MOST CELL PHONES WILL HAVE SERVICE AT THIS LOCATION.

This is a "On Golden Pond" style cottage. Really nice and has everything you would need while away from home. Great thought has been given to everything from the inside of cottage to the firepit and picnic area. Nice level waterfront and dock for fishing. Also only a short trip to Wells Beach. It was relaxing and peaceful. If you are looking for a perfect spot, this is it.

We had a great week at kozy kottage. The fishing was awesome. The camp was very well kept and had all the amenities anyone could need. The lake was beautiful, and we are greatful to Ron and Julie for letting us stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing peaceful getaway.

Another Great Summer Rental

We enjoyed another great season at the camp. We switched to two weeks this year. Great weather and great fishing. See some of this years catches in the pictures. That was just a few of the many fish we caught. I am open to sharing all of my Mousam Lake hot spots! :) We have been on Mousam for 40 years and it is one of the most beautiful lakes in the Northeast. We are counting down the days (344) till next years trip. Thank you Ron and Julie!

Life on the beach

my husband and I and family rented for two weeks was well worth it the cottage has perfect view of Mousam Lake nothing like sitting on the front porch drinking morning coffee or sitting at night with a cold drink.the beach just a step away to take a swim .we enjoyed our stay and can't wait to book it for next year .quiet,comfortable ,and cozy.was close to Teds restaurant good food and Icecream .was a good location for shopping.great get away !!!
