We Enjoyed The Tranquility Of This Spring Fed Lake. The Cottage Located On Perfect Spot To Watch The Evening Sunset. The Cottage Was Very Clean And Organized With All The Tool You Need To Feel At Home. I Was Thrilled We Had Air Conditioning And All Those Fans. It Made The Warm Days And Nights Cool. I Loved The Stairs To The Water For The Children And The Dock Was Perfect For My Fishing Boat. The Grandkids Loved Sleeping In The Loft And They All Had A Part Forming Pleasant Memories Of Wilson Lake. My 9 Yr Old Granson Caught A 4lb Large Mouth Bass To Thrill Of All Of Us. 100 Yds Out From The Dock! We Had Excellent Weather And The Lake & Cottage Were Great. I'm Sure We Will Be Back Next Year. Delightful Experience

We just loved our stay. The cottage is situated perfectly to catch a reliable breeze across the cooling water of the lake. Plenty of places to enjoy the view and the breeze: the screened porch with views of the whole lake, the deck, or the dock. The steps going down to a sandy lake bed would be perfect for young children. The lake was delightfully quiet during the week and we enjoyed calls and activities of the loons. I echo another comment – this has got to be the best equipped camp or cottage we have ever stayed in. There is great attention to the detail of what a temporary resident will need and that made us feel like welcome guests. We especially appreciated the air conditioning because there were a few days that got hot in the late afternoon. The local restaurants serve really good specialty food: either clams, ribs & wings and American family restaurant food. Trips to Ted's for ice cream became an early evening ritual.Big Daddy's restaurant and Nascar bar is a hoot. It was an easy ride into Portland or Kittery, each a little over 1 hour. One of the best

This is the most well-supplied cottage I've ever stayed in during my 73 years of life. The lake is all it is claimed to be as are the sunsets. The cottage has been well maintained and is suitable for adults and/or families. My favorite spot was the loft and I wish there'd been a bed there. Great spot to see out over the lake, but so was the enclosed porch. I was delighted to have the two close by cottages empty during my stay, but the people who own them are very quiet when they are there and friendly as well. I do wish the row boat had been in the water and not up on the shore, but also understood that two people could get it into the water. The price was reasonable for all the cottage offered. No need to travel around, no loud noises, yet most things close by and easy to reach.

Wilson Lake Cottage

Great cottage with beautiful location right on Wilson Lake. Kids loved swimming and fishing right off the dock. Also within drivikng distance to other attractions (seacoast, shopping, etc.,) in Maine and New Hampshire. We had a great time.

We lucked out with this one! The cottage is at the end of a private road with only a few other cottages. We had abundant sunshine and enjoyed swimming, fishing and kayaking. The lake water is very clean and the lake is not a touristy spot like Mousam, so it was very relaxing to sit on the dock and enjoy the beautiful weather. We enjoyed walks down the quiet streets and campfires in the evening. The cottage was comfortable and cozy. It had everything we needed, a comfortable king size bed in one room, bunk beds plus a twin in the second bedroom, a full size futon bed in the living room. The best part was the evening sunsets! Glorious! We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this cottage.
