THE RENTAL IS LOCATED BELOW BEAUTIFUL MT. GREYLOCK. ITS SITS ON AN ACRE PRIVATE LOT WITH ONLY ONE OTHER HOME ON THIS QUIET STREET. IT IS A 5 MIN. WALK ON THE ASHWILTICOOK BIKE TRAIL AT THE BOTTOM OF THE STREET, TO THE MAIN STREET OF ADAMS, AND LEADS TO THE BERKSHIRE VISITOR BUREAU 10 MINUTE WALK FROM APT.
THE MAIN STREET OF ADAMS IS TYPICAL OF NEW ENGLAND TOWNS CHANGING WITH THE TIMES. TO MAKE A RESERVATION PLEASE CALL INSTED OF E-MAIL AS I WILL GET BACK TO YOU WITHIN A DAY. FRIDAY CALLS WILL NOT BE ANSWERED ON FIRDAY BUT RETURNED ON THAT WEEKEND. SEE NUMBER ABOVE.

THE BIKE TRAIL LEADS NORTH TO THE MAIN STREET OF ADAMS AND SOUTH TO LANESBORO PAST HOOSAC LAKE, ( KNOWN AS CHESHIRE LAKE LOCALLY).
MassMOCA (MASSACHUSETTS MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART) IS A 10 MIN DRIVE FROM THE RENTAL AND 10 MINUTES FROM THERE, IN WILLIAMSTOWN, IS THE CLARK ART INSTITUE AND THE WILLIAMSTOWN THEATRE. A 40 MINUTE DRIVE TO SOUTH COUNTY WILL BRING YOU TO TANGLEWOOD, FOR OUTDOOR SUMMER CONCERTS.

BIKE RENTALS FOR THE TRAIL ARE ONLY A MILE SOUTH ON RTE 8 AND ACCESS TO THE TRAIL ACROSS THE ROAD. A PLAYGROUND IS 1/4 MILE FROM HOUSE AND IS ALONGSIDE THE BIKE TRAIL.

We stayed for 5 nights and we can not explain how wonderful it was. We felt at home right off the bat. Judy is a wonderful hostess and owner. We did not need anything, everything was in reach. We had to bury my husbands mother and she made it less stressful on us. How can you thank someone that was there for you and a wonderful person??? And the apartment was just perfect. Thanks again Judy and Adams, Mass. We love you!!!!

We LOVE staying at Judy's place. It has become our getaway place in western mass. When you walk in you immediately feel like you are on vacation. Her place is spacious, spotless, has such fun artwork and decor, and is so comfortable and private. If you get a chance to visit with Judy she is a spark of life and so fun. Just walk out her door and you can be on bike trails and walking paths in minutes. Adams is a quiet little town with lots of gems if you just start looking and Judy's place is the perfect place to stay.

My son and I had a very nice while staying in this very cute and spacious apartment. The stay was only made better by the owner who couldn't have been nicer and more helpful while also respecting our privacy. The garden is beautiful! The apartment is very comfortable w/everything you need and if there is something you need that isn't there, ask the owner and she is all too happy to provide it for you. We had a great time and will definitely return! Thanks for a super nice week, Judith!

We, that includes my 80 year old mother, carry back wonderful memories of our 3 week stay. Judy's personal attention, tasteful retro decor and the pleasant notes at the "comm corner" were delights; not to mention the delicious cake she baked us on my mother's birthday. As all 4 of my family live in diffrent countries,we were looking for a place to call home when we got together this summer.This was it. And we got Judy's smile as a bonus!

The apartment is lovely and well taken care of. The location was perfect for short trips to North Adams (Mass Moca) and Williamstown (William College Art Museum). The bike trail to Pittsfield is an easy but beautiful ride past lakes and trees. Judy is very helpful and really wants everyone to have a great time. We will definately return.

What a great weekend we had! Played golf in nearby Clarksburg, went biking and found a great breakfast spot at the mouth of a lake on the trail 20 minutes away. Ate some good food, did some shopping and site seeing and always had our "home" away from home nearby. Our host has put a lot of time and effort into the Apartment, and it shows...We slept confortably and could have spent the whole weekend inside just looking at all the old memorabila! Got us in the mood for a visit to the Norman Rockwell museum nearby on our way home...Thanks again J, hope to be back soon...

My two sisters and I shared this absolutely darling retro apartment for four days. It is immaculate, comfortable and quiet. The location is ideal for access to the many activities in this region, a 10 minute drive to Mass. MOCA. In addition it is steps away from a well maintained rail trail that takes you right into downtown Adams or out to Cheshire Lake. Our lovely host steered us to great restaurants in the area and shared many local stories. Great Find! We will be back.
