Description of the Addison vacation home rental

This fabulous property on 60 acres offers the perfect vacation spot. The isolated location offers maximum privacy - no other homes are in sight. Trails through the grounds are wonderful for hiking and relaxing.

The house is fillled with vintage furniture along with all the comforts and conveniences of home. The huge living room features a window seat long enough for napping and a fireplace (wood provided) for chilly evenings. An oak extention table in the dining room will hold all your guests. The sun room offers a view of Mt. Desert Island in Acadia National Park. With 5 bedrooms, the house will sleep up to 14 people. The fully equipped kitchen has a dishwasher and two microwaves. A second refrig is located in the attached barn. A gas grill is available. The antique beds with new mattresses are in keeping with the character of the house. The second floor has a huge full bath. A bath and shower are located on the first floor. An attached outdoor bath with shower is available for summer usage. The house comes with wifi, phone, and Dish TV.

Area Information

This part of Maine is a vacationer's delight. The small quaint towns and fishing villages are waiting to be explored. Lobster is available at the S. Addison Pier for $3.50 (2012) a pound. Lighthouses, whale watching, fishing, antiquing, boat rides, etc. are just a few of the area attractions. It's a photographers dream.
