Description of the Albrightsville vacation chalet rental

Our unique vacation home is nestled among the trees in the private, amenity filled community of Towamensing Trails. We are conveniently located near the back entrance of the community which allows for easy access to major attractions yet we are a short distance to all the community ammenties. Set back on the property you get the feeling you are the only house in the woods. Once inside there is plenty of natural light through the many windows. The open floor plan brings family and friends together while the stained glass lighting and large stone fireplace gives the feeling of warmth and coziness. We have decorated with the thought of bringing the outdoors in...from the pottery collection to the knickknacks, every piece was chosen with this house in mind.

Whether looking for adventure, a romatic weekend, a secluded getaway, or just to celebrate life with friends, you will find it in our home.

Area Information

Our home away from home is located in the private community of Towamensing Trails which offers a 190 acre lake with beach, pool, volleyball, basketball and tennis courts plus a clubhouse with restaurant and arcade for the kids. The area is home to many major Pocono attractions such as Big Boulder/Jack Frost, H2O Indoor Water Park, 700 acre Skrimish paintball, white water rafting, horseback riding, Hickory Run State Park, Historic Jim Thorpe, Pocono Raceway and golfing. Whether it be out on an adventure or relaxing inside, our home will be one you will want to return too!

Lovely home

I recently stayed at this home and had a wonderful time. It was easy to find, had ample parking, and was in a nice, quiet area. The home was very cozy, but certainly more than spacious enough for our group of 5. The kitchen had every pot and pan and utensil you could imagine and was even stocked with flour, sugar, and spices. The living room had a nice large couch and a very nice tv in addition to a fireplace. The homeowners provided chopped firewood and other fire building supplies. There are three bedrooms in the home. Downstairs there is a bedroom with a queen sized bed and another with two sets of bunk beds and trundles. The second bedroom was clearly meant for kids and even had another tv and a Nintendo wii as well as various board games. There is another bedroom upstairs with a queen. There is also a loft area upstairs that leads to a deck with a grill. There are two bathrooms, one upstairs and one downstairs, and both were more than sufficient. We did not really use the community amenities, so I cannot speak to them. There are many convenience stores and small restaurants nearby, however, so the location was not inconvenient. The cabin is half an hour or so from Jim Thorpe, but it was nice to be away from the cramped city there. It's also a little more than half an hour from Mt. Airy Casino. Overall we had a nice stay. I would certainly like to stay at this property again in the future. Mike and Amy were so nice and quick to respond to all of my emails.
