Description of the Albrightsville vacation chalet rental

This chalet is nestled in the woods that stretch from valleys to mountains. Each season promises incredible views that only an artist can portray in a landscape masterpiece. Perfect for couples, friends getaways or family reunions.

It features 3 bedrooms plus a loft and together comfortably sleeps 10. There are 3-1/2 baths with a bonus jacuzzi and sauna roomy enough for 6. The "Great Room" features a beautiful stone fireplace, floor to ceiling glass with incredible views and sliding doors that lead to a wrap-around deck. There is a finished basement with a wood burning stove, cozy seating and laundry room. The house is well equiped with dishes/glasses, cookware, small appliances, tv/cable with wifi.

Area Information

For the adventurer - Our property is located approximately 15/20 minutes from Jack Frost and Big Boulder and 30 minutes from Camelback and Blue Mountain. Paintball and whitewater rafting is also close by. Many hiking trails surround the area.

For the Shopper - If you like a quaint village setting then Jim Thorpe is the place to be. For the bargain shopper - The Crossings Premium Outlets are for you. Visit one of the largest general stores at Country Junction only 20 minutes down the road.

A Getaway that Feels far Away but Isn't

I stayed there for the weekend with some friends to celebrate my 50th Birthday. The home is beautiful! Everything was spotless. I loved the sauna and the hot tub! The beds were so comfortable. We had visitors (deer). They came right up to the deck. It was awesome. The view of the ski resort lit up at night was the only thing that reminded me we were close to civilization. We made fires in both fireplaces. The wood was already there, ready to be used. I felt like I was somewhere much further than I really was. There were many brochures for local places to visit. There's a lot to do. We went to dinner at the Boulder Tavern. It was delicious. But, other than that, we didn't want to go anywhere. We had everything we needed and it was so beautiful, I didn't want to leave! I plan on going back again (and again). It was a wonderful 50th Birthday that will stay with me forever. You will feel the same. I highly reccomend this property be your first choice if you ever plan on going to that area. You won't be disappointed!

This chalet was a great place for my friends and I to get away to unwind, kickback and relax. We spent a weekend in February, and it accommodated all of our needs. It's spaciousness but cozy decor allowed all of us to gather in one area without being crowded. It had plenty of bedrooms/beds. And it was very neat and clean. The view from the deck is beautiful and the surrounding area is safe to take long walks. It also provided an added luxury of a sauna. We had no problem finding shops and restaurants nearby which only made our stay that much more fun. I'll definitely return for another long weekend, perhaps in the Autumn when the leaves are turning, and we can enjoy a bonfire.

Beautiful Chalet !!!

This Chalet is awesome and has an amazing view! From the back yard you can also see Blue Mtn. Ski Resort. It was only a short 30 min drive for skiing. The town of Jim Thorpe is close by also and was a great place to spend the day, but the Chalet has everything you could want and was hard to leave. It was beautifully decorated and the sauna and jaccuzzi tub were a luxury much enjoyed! We look forward to renting this place again, but hopefully for a longer stay next time.
