Write a review This was my first time going to the poconos and reating a house and I had such a wonderful experience!!! The house was beuatiful and clean also the owners were great! I recommend this place to anyone looking to have a great relaxing time. Will be returning again very soon:) The home is really inviting. You will fall into a comfort zone and get stuck. Our family just hung in the great room and watched the big TV and munched and drank all day. We were lucky to get a little snow but definetly wanted more. My brother-n-law didn't want to leave. If your smoker take a blanket and a cup of hot coco outside w/ you because there is no smoking in the house.The bonus for my husband was the candy canes on the tree, he a candy bandit at night. In a nut shell it was a great time,thanks Paul and Nicole. We just stayed at this house from Christmas Eve to Dec. 26th and we have nothing but good things to say about this home. The owners went ABOVE and BEYOND at being available and helpful for everything. They even left us a Christmas tree all set up along with a super thoughtful gift. This was a surprise for all of us and meant more than words can say, our children will have many beautiful memories of this Christmas holiday. We will be recommending this house to our friends and family and will be coming back in the summertime. Thanks again Paul and Nicole!! This home is so cozy and we all felt right at home. The game room was amazing and kept all the men busy. We had snow fall which made this weekend even better. The home had everything we needed from kitchen utensils, a bbq grill, tv, and radio. I cant wait to be able to do this again next winter!! The highlight would have to be the 2 deer we saw right in our backyard. The owner was always available when I had questions and super nice. We stayed over the Thanksgiving weekend and just got back. The family and I had a wonderful, and more importantly, relaxing experience at Paul's house. All the amenities were there and Paul put up with all my incidental questions prior to arriving without hesitation and so promptly. The best thing was that we sometimes stayed at the house enjoying the game room or beautiful TV watching a movie or playing a game, but we were also close enough to do everything from the winery to shopping to going out to a wonderful restaurant for dinner. It is the perfect affordable vacation for a family get away, including the family dog!. We also did not have to travel far to get there. We had a great time. Even had some snow in October. Your home was perfect for a family get away. We had a great time in the gameroom. We even got my mom to play the Wii. Paul was very accommodating. We rented the house for a small family reunion and were very pleased with the ameneties in the house. The kids had a lot of fun and so did all the adults. The location is also perfect with all the activities in the Poconos close by. Above all, the hosts have thought through and provide all the stuff needed for an excellent stay. Thanks you both! My family did rent this beautiful and warm house for the full month of August. It was a truly flawless experience. From my inquiry about availability all the way through to the end, Paul and Nichole were awesome. They responded promptly to all of my endless questions and e-mails. They made our rental experience a great one. They prepared house for us before we came and it was spotless clean! We had everything what we need and felt like home! House conveniently located to the Pool, lake, Clubhouse and playground, approx 5-8 min walking distance. We enjoyed every day being there! Game room is awesome, but with the pool, lake and other attractions in the area we did not use it much! I loved it so much that will do everything possible to come back next summer! Thank you for sharing your lovely home with us and giving us the chance to make some wonderful memories of our stay. We were entertained all weekend with the WII, the game room, the big yard etc...We would highly recommend this house to any vacationer looking for a getaway to a house that is full of entertainment, fully equipped kitchen, clean and accommodating owner. We look forward to our return next year! If You like to relax in one place and have many different fun things to do, then you need to spend a few nights here. I never left the house and was satisfied with my vaca. My only regret was not staying for a week. That will not happen next year. ;) Two Thumbs Up. Thanks Paul A++ For Big Families Right from the start, I appreciated Paul's prompt replies to my e-mails. He was always very accomodating. We enjoyed a nice getaway! We got out and did some geocaching, went to Split Rock's indoor water park (suggested by Paul)and received some pampering at Escapes Day Spa in Pocono Pines. Although the weather wasn't great, we had a GREAT time, thanks to the game room! It's been AGES since we played ping pong and pool! Until we left, I think we all improved our pool techniques! The bowling game was very fun, too! There was no chance of being bored while staying in this house! But my biggest compliment goes to the owners - very nice to deal with! Thanks again! If you are looking for a nice relaxing weekend away this is the place for you. The house is extremely clean and cozy. You truly feel like its a home away from home. The game room is certainly a plus. The house is minutes away from the lake. And the living room is a great place to gather for watching a movie on the big TV in front of the warm fire place. We stayed there for two nights and it was very comfortable and cozy. The house had everything that we needed. The game room, flat screen TV and the wii was a plus. I would definetly stay there again. For the last couple of years my friends and I have been going to the Poconos to get away for a weekend and ski, and of all the houses we've rented and owners we've dealt with, this house was the most comfortable, and by far the most fun (game room). Paul and Nicole were very nice and made the trip as convenient as possible for us, and my group and I are very thankful to them for that. We will deffinitely be coming back! 10 Stars! What a great house!! Paul and Nicole are excellent to deal with and covered every detail to make our stay outstanding. Great hiking at Hickory Run State Park - check out the falls on Hawk Falls Run and enjoy the rock climbing on the Shades of Death trails. We really enjoyed shooting pool and watching the NCAA bowl games in the game room. Kids loved the Wii. Plenty of room to eat, relax and sleep. This particular unit was relly great, ski center is walking distance, quiet neighborhood,...its was everything that we are looking for. The house is clean, well maintained, good location, big enough for at least 6 people...Very important, The owner is go generous, down toearth, flexible, profetional person...I would like to do business again... Definitely recomendable place to go. Dan This house was awesome. It is just as the owner described it. We had 12 people for the holiday and we never felt crowded. This is the perfect house!!! Its very comfortable and clean. The game room was great. You feel right at home as soon as you walk in the door. We will definetely be back. The house is so adorable and inviting! We had a group of 9 and there was plenty of room!! Very happy with all aspects of the house! The game room is super fun... we all loved the old bowling machine! We all live in NYC, so it was great to come to a house with a yard to play ball and grill out. This is what we grew up with. We are all looking forward in staying here in the future.
