Description of the Albuquerque vacation home rental

Come and stay at our Elegant Estate for budget conscious travelers! House of Peace and Love is a 5,000 sq. ft private estate with beautiful views of the Rio Grande River Valley and the Sandia Mountains. We are minutes from the tram for great skiing, gambling, hiking, biking, golf, tennis, world class shopping and intimate dining. We currently offer 3 guest rooms, each room carries within it a unique personality and charm. Guests have full use of: kitchen, breakfast room, dinning room, BBQ, beautifully appointed common areas with art, water treatments, hot tub, pool table, laundry facilities, video library, an eclectic international flavor, and beautiful grounds.

Your host is nationally acclaimed author Suzanne Lopez. You can read about her at her site. This is a house share, not a bed and breakfast. You do have access to the kitchen to use at your convenience.

Area Information

Albuquerque is a beautiful city in the heart of the American Southwest. It is nestled between the gorgeous Sandia Mountains right along the Rio Grande Rift Valley. Albuquerque has every sort of entertainment option available to it's visitors, with an international Airport, three malls, at least four concert venues with all types of shows, and a booming film industry.

Other Fees: A 25% cancellation fee will be applied to all reservations. For cancellations received within 60 days of arrival. If cancellation is requested on or after arrival date, all payments will be retained. If the subject property can be re-rented, a pro-rated refund will be issued less the 25% cancellation fee. Cleaning fees between $25-$150 are required varying by occupancy and length of stay.

Long weekend get away

Initially there was talk amongst us about hotels. Then we found this wonderful home to rent. What a great decision we made. The home is very confortable, clean, easy to access and we felt very safe being in a strange place. This became our "NM Home"!!! What a wonderful trip this was. Wouldn't change a thing.

A Feast for the Eyes!

This wonderful home is relaxing and a visual eye feast. I stayed in the Mexican fiesta room with my own private entrance and outdoor gazebo/lounging area. It was beyond cheerful! There are sitting areas outside each room....each eclectic and inviting. I decided to paint my bedroom at home like their Indian decorated room.....lush shades of tangerine. The hosts were wonderful and attentive. I felt immediately at home.....not at all like a stranger. I will return with my friends and family next time I come to Albuquerque.
