Description of the Alexandria vacation apartment rental

Clean, breezy two bedroom apartment directly overlooking the Mediterranean in Alexandria, Egypt. Short term rent (minimum stay is one week). A stay in this comfortable, safe apartment is great savings on hotel prices.

Situated on the 8th floor (2 elevators), the apartment is tastefully furnished and fully equipped. With two large bedrooms (each room has two 120cm wide beds, and one room also has with a sofabed), it can comfortably accomodate 4 adults and a child. Each bedroom has a balcony directly overlooking the sea. ONE of the bedrooms is air conditioned (tenants rearely use the unit because the apartment really does have a nice breeze and there are movable and ceiling fans).

The building, which was built in the 1960s, has two 'doormen' on duty 24 hours a day, and is situated in one of the city's most elegant neighborhoods (San Stefano). It is 3 Km away from the Sidi Gaber Train Station, 20 km from 'Al Nozha" international airport airport, 60 km from 'Borg Al Arab' international airport, 9 km from downtown Alexandria, and 10 km from the city's entrance.

It is conveniently located across the street from Alexandria's newest and most modern tourist complex and mall which includes 10 movie theatres, a supermarket open 24 hrs all days of the week, a private marina, restaurants - and much more.

The apartment building is located right on the Alexandria Corniche.
An ultra-modern tourist complex, the San Stefano Towers, is right across the street, making this a very convenient location for shopping, dining out etc.

I was very happy with this flat. The location was gorgeous and the view spectacular. Convenient to everything and a great area for many things happening every day. The decor inside was very much like my own home with a mixture of antiques and every necessity to feel at home. Very clean and wonderful peaceful feeling inside the flat. Being on the high level floor gives you a sense of privacy when sitting on the 2 balconies. I loved that no one next to you was sitting in their balcony and could see you or talk with you in your moment of peace and tranquility. The owner is very accomodating and a pleasure to know. I felt like I was staying in my best friend's summer home. Can't wait to go again and enjoy Alexandria in this beautiful flat.
