Brigadune was all it promised to be and more. The house itself is very spacious with comfy beds and furniture. I love to cook and found everything in the kitchen I needed along with a nice long table for our large family to share. The beach out front is white and powdery. We took long walks and rarely saw people. Wildlife is everywhere. The horseshoe crabs were abundant at sunset. We saw an eagle every day and the dolphin shows were like none we have ever seen. The fishing is excellent. Just down the road at the pier in the state park is a great fishing dock. Since the water is shallow so far out in front of the house, the kids swam and played and we felt very safe. Nice area as well. The little town nearby has a great "hole-in-the-wall" to eat at called Posey's. The only thing that kept this from being a perfect for us was that the weather was not hot and there were some biting bugs that chewed us up while fishing or out after dark. Because the water is very shallow with vegetation close by, the color of the water is not the characteristic Gulf blue but still very pretty. If you are looking for a very comfortable place with plenty of breathing room, this is it. The owner was very easy to work with as well. We loved it!

Great Time Again

This was our second time renting Brigadune and that in of itself should tell you that it is a house well worth returning too. Having been there before, when we opened the door it was like coming home. Despite the very cool weather, we had many enjoyable hours on the beach and in the house. Thanks Andrea for sharing your house with my family. As always, you were easy to work with and made sure our vacation time was wonderful.

The Greatest Vacation

I can’t begin to describe what a wonderful getaway Brigadune is, not just because the home has to be sitting hidden away in one of the most beautiful areas Florida has to offer, but also because the home itself is amazing. It is decorated in a way that makes you feel special to be there and at home all at the same time. Andy has gone to great lengths to be certain that there all the comforts of home and then some. We had the pleasure of staying for a week and would have loved to have been able to stay hidden away indefinitely. We have already booked our return for the same dates next year. Thank you Andy for allowing us the opportunity to stay in your home and for the welcome gift, I almost forgot to mention, in effort to answer some of the questions we had before going; yes you see dolphins daily, as well as eagles hermit crabs, ghost crabs, several different types of birds, etc. and the home actually sits right on the beach, walk down the stairs and you are on the white sand, last but not least it is extremely private which was perfect. Beautiful Home on Beach

My wife and I enjoyed an awesome week at the beach in Andrea's beautiful house. The house was extremely clean and well apportioned. It has a spacious 2nd story deck, a 3rd floor screened porch, and awesome views from the huge living room windows. Our stay was during the middle of summer (July), but the house's incredible air conditioner had no problem keeping the place frozen! There is plenty of parking space under the house. We brought my boat, and went out in Ochlockonee Bay and the gulf fishing. We caught croakers, sail cat, redfish, and shark. Andrea was very courteous. I can't overstate how nice the house was. We had a wonderful time and I would recommend the place to anybody. Thanks!

A slice of heaven

This was the perfect vacation home. We loved it. So relaxing and peaceful. We had the beach to ourselves the whole time. The water was shallow we could walk out so far, my kids loved it. Andrea was so good with information and help with the rental process. The best vacation I've ever had.

Great place to get away from it all

We had a wonderful week at brigadune! The house was very clean and beautiful . The owner was very helpful. We will definitely be back. The only negative was the black flies. They were only out for two days and that wasn't too bad. Thank you Andrea for sharing your wonderful place with us!

We fully enjoyed the stay at brigadune beach house. The house is very private and we saw 5 people on the beach in 7 days. Very well furnished with everything you need.Everyone we met were so nice and helpful in where to eat , shop and buy seafood. We plan to return for sure.

This is the best stocked rental we've ever had the pleasure of staying at. The beach was wonderfully private and quiet. It was perfect for quality time with our kids and the water doesn't get too deep anywhere. The screened porch was wonderful at all times of the day and the beds were VERY comfortable. The little aquarium in town was perfect for the kids and Angelo's was delicious! I will recommend this house to everyone I know!
