Description of the Alligator Point vacation home rental

The Blue Marlin is brand new, pet friendly, completed in summer of 2006, beautifully furnished. This home has all hardwood floors #1, granite countertops, loads of
cabinets, a long granite bar with stools, solid cherry dining room with seats for 8. Kitchen opens into the great room for open living, however, bedrooms are separated for privacy. Large, soft seating in living room to view plasma TV with satellite, 180 channels avalible. Baths are tile with two showerheads in master. This is a beautiful beach house. Furnished with new beds and furniture, linens, everything. Walk 100' to the gulf with derserted beaches and endless walks. House is surrounded by 3,000 acres of Florida State Park .

A large screen porch and two sun decks are there to dream the days away. Dolphins can be seen from the porch, along with thousands of birds of all different kinds,
wild life abounds. If you are looking for a private place to spend with your loved ones, this is it. PETS ARE WELCOME.

Area Information

Bald Point is located off of Alligator Point road, very secluded and private, this home is one half mile from a 5,000 acre state park. Just fifty steps from the beach, you can see Dolphins and thousands of birds from the large screen porch or sun decks. Fishing off the beach in the surf is great, the state park has a very long pier where fishing is even better. Stroll the trails and walkways in the state park and you will think you are in Africa. Deer, Bald Eagles, Osprey, Pelicans, Dolphin, can be seen daily.

Five star seafood and steak resturant overlooking the river is five miles, other less expensive resturants within ten miles, blue plate specials for lunch ($7). Childrens aquarium and touch tanks, six miles. Tiki bar with drinks and good food at Alligator Point Mariana, six miles.

Three Days in Paradise-The Blue Marlin

My husband and I both work demanding jobs where it is difficult to take off time from work. This place, the Blue Marlin, is only an hour's drive from home but is a world away in terms of relaxation. The owner Gary was very helpful in providing excellent pre-trip information as per location, maps, and lists of amenities in the home. We arrived late at night and found the house easily right off the state park road. Upon entering the home, all I can say is...WOW. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout the entire place, comfortable furniture, well equipped kitchen...and very clean. My husband enjoyed the big screen TV and relaxing on the huge sofa. I enjoyed lounging on the deck overlooking the Gulf. We thoroughly relaxed for three days and wished we could have stayed longer. Alligator Point is a fairly secluded area and the beach is all yours to enjoy with plenty of privacy. All you really need to bring with you is your own food and drink...everything else is there for your comfort and use. The beds are very comfortable, the linens are top of the line. I really enjoyed the twin showers in the master bath. I will most definitely be a repeat visitor at the Blue Marlin. Thank you Gary.
