Area Information

This newly built (2008) luxury cabin is located in the quaint village of Alpine, Az. Alpine is 265 miles from either Tucson, Phoenix, or Albuquerque. About 4 and 1/2 hours driving time. The town of Alpine sits at the headwaters of the San Francisco river, at an elevation of 8,100 ft and is situated in the eastern end of Arizona's popular White Mountains. It is surrounded by the beauty of the Sitgreaves National Forest. The four distinct seasons offer something for everyone in this outdoor paradise from quiet relaxation to a myriad of outdoor recreational activities.

Great cabin

The cabin was very clean and accommodating. The beds were truly comfortable and plentiful.. Access to the main town was very easy to get to and close by. It was nice that the homeowner checked in on us to see if everything was going well. I would definitely recommend staying at this beautifully decorated cabin.

Excellent place to stay

October 20, 2009

We visited White Mountains in Sept 2009 and stay in this house for 2 nights. The owner of the house was very friendly and provided us with all the driving directions we needed. The house (both interior and exterior) are very well maintained and has a beautiful layout. There are a couple of lakes close to the house (3-15 miles) and also a gas station which is just 1 mile away. The house was completely equipped with all the necessary utensils and the gas grill BBQ was the best BBQ we ever had. I highly recommend the visitors stay at this house. Also there are no houses in the surrounding areas and if you want to enjoy the remote area atmosphere, this will be the best house.
