Description of the Alvor vacation villa rental

Casinhoto is a 3.000 square meters walled property, located just 2 kms from Portimão (the second largest town in the Algarve) and Alvor (a typical fishing village). It has three villas inside, two of which are for self-catering rental. The third one is occupied by the owners. Within 3-5 minute drive, you can find fine sandy beaches with clear warm water and several golf courses, including the famous Penina Golf Course, designed by Henry Cotto.

Casarão (4-8 persons):
Nicely furnished big detached villa just by the pool. In the ground floor, it has two bedrooms, two bathrooms, a fully fitted kitchen and a 30 square metres lounge with glassed doors leading out onto a large patio and a private grassed garden, ideal for alfresco needs. Upstairs, are located the additional two bedrooms and one bathroom.

Casa dos Arcos (4 persons):
A very fresh detached villa surrounded by a large lawn and a big purple flower we call "buganvilia". It has two bedrooms, one bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a 40 m2 living lounge with fireplace and glassed doors leading out to a patio with barbecue and garden furniture. The whole villa is comfortably furnished to a high standard.

Area Description

The beautiful village of Alvor, the lively resort of Praia da Rocha, and the bustling town of Portimão are all within a 5-10 minute drive of the villa. There is also a regular local mini-bus service, which stops 20 meters from our gate. Portimão is well known for its shopping and grilled sardine restaurants, while Praia da Rocha is famed for its mile-long beach and lively nighlife. Alvor caters for those seeking a more quiet evening out, with plenty of cosy restaurants and cafes.
