Vacation Rental Description

Sei Camini (six chimneys)is two conjoined restored farmhouses set in wonderful countryside with views over the local hill villages. They share a communal loggia (entrance hall) and swimming pool but are otherwise completely independent. Casa Piccola (featured here)has 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and 1 twin), a large living dining area, kitchen and showerroom. Set in 2 hectares of of rolling meadows, boarded on the north by fields of sunflowers or corn, with a steep hillside of mixed deciduous woodland (full of delightful birdsong) to the west, a vineyard, fruit trees, fireflies, lavender, almond and olive trees. To top it all, there is a wonderful swimming pool to keep cool during those hot, lazy days. A sense of peace and quiet pervades.
Casa Piccola can be rented with the Casa Grande which conjoins it for large parties of friends and family - together they sleep up to 18 people in 8 bedrooms.

Area Description

The Marche Region is bordered by the Umbria, Emilia Romagna, Abruzzo and Lazio regions of Italy. In the east, the Le Marche coastline is lapped by the warm waters of the Adriatic Sea and in the west is protected by the Sibillini Mountains, part of the Appenine chain.
The house looks out over the hill villages of Penna san Giovanni and Monte San Martino both of which have wonderful and reasonable restaurants. Our nearest towns of Sarnano (fantastic medieval buildings) and Amandola are about 20 mins drive - each have weekly markets with fantastic regional produce. Seafood lovers can head to the coast to check out the beachside fish restaurants.
If Italian shoes take your fancy the best factory outlets can be found close to the coast offering great bargains.
