Amelia Island Beach Condo 3BR/2BA

Our Amelia Island vacation rental is a relaxing getaway! Located on the quiet and picturesque north end of Amelia Island, the condo is 2 blocks from the beach yet only minutes (2 miles) from downtown Fernandina Beach. Enjoy the beach without the higher costs of beach front rentals. Excellent location!

Our Florida vacation condo borders Fort Clinch park on the West, with the ocean nearby to your North and East so there is only vehicle access from the South thus no through traffic. Great neighborhood having a large natural beach area with dunes. Main Beach is also nearby for those of you who prefer a more populated beach with lifeguards.

The condo is approximately 1,200 sq ft in size with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths. It has two balconies; one balcony directly off the living/dining area (facing the ocean to your east) and the other a small private balcony outside the master bedroom facing a natural area of Fort Clinch State Park (in the background of the picture to the rear of the unit). The condo is an end unit on the second floor which gives you a little extra breathing room and privacy compared to most of the units in the complex. Within the complex are tennis courts and a swimming pool.

It is fully furnished and equipped. The master bedroom has a new queen-size bed with pillowtop mattress and a connecting master bathroom with walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a new queen bed and the third bedroom has a twin bed with a pull out trundle bed underneath (suitable for 1 adult or 2 children). The second and third bedrooms share an adjacent bathroom with a full tub and shower. The unit also has a full kitchen with appliances and a laundry closet with a full sized washer and dryer.

Come visit us and Amelia Island. But be careful, you may not want to leave! We would love to have you as our guest!

Area Description

Considered by many as one of Florida's best well guarded secrets, Amelia Island is known for its 13 miles of beautiful and tranquil beaches. There is also golf, tennis, boating and fishing.

You can watch the gorgeous sunsets at the downtown Fernandina Beach Harbor Marina while watching the shrimp boats come in and the fisherman weigh their catch for the day.

If you're a water-lover, try surf fishing on the beach or fishing in the salt marshes and oyster beds along the river, go for a sail or paddle a kayak.

For the history buff, Amelia Island offers an abundance of attractions. Stroll through downtown Fernandina Beach which is 40 blocks of historic homes and businesses. There is also Fort Clinch bordering the condominium, a living pre-civil war landmark that offers tours and re-enactments of life in the mid 1800's as well as great hiking trails and a spectacular pier.

 Fabulous!, April 28, 2009
By Cheryl Mowris (Atlanta, Georgia)
This condo suited our needs and desires to a T ! It was not only more space than we two needed(would sleep 6 plus a baby)but great for access to the Fort Clinch park and the town. We rode our bikes a lot and were quite comfy so close to the dunes. We saw a buck deer, racoon and lots of birds out our back balcony since we were right up close to the dunes, yet only two blocks fron the beach. We often walked to the beach after dinner to watch the tide go out.

WE LOVE AMELIA ISLAND, August 25, 2008
By Rachel Fowler Clements (Alpharetta, GA)
Thank you Christian for letting us stay at your wonderful Condo. When we arrived, it was very clean and it had all the comforts of home. It was spacious enough that we all could have our own space (with two teenagers, you really this!). The beach was beautiful and the Condo was close enough we could walk to it. Loved the Atlantic Seafood Market down by the pier - we ate fresh seafood every night! The square was very quaint and the shops were unique. Amelia Island is a very laid back town, most of the people are locals. Having two teenagers I was alittle worried they would be bored, but everyone had a great time. Thanks again and looking forward to visiting next year! I gave the overall experiece 4 stars only because the condo was not directly on the beach, which was fine for us.
Owner Supplied Testimonials
"My husband and three children stayed here last summer. It was the first time any of us had been to Florida, and we fell in love with Amelia Island. This condo was convenient to beach, downtown, dining, the whole nine yards actually! It was nice, quiet, clean, and very affordable! On our first trip in June 2007, we took a day trip to SeaWorld and had a blast! We toured Fort Clinch, shopped and dined in downtown Fernandina, and found 99 sharks teeth on the beach! Our second trip in August was just as wonderful! We took a daytrip to Neptune Beach, rode the ferry, and visited Little Talbot Island! Which is a must see! It is absolute paradise, a breath taking site to behold! We definitely will be back for many more years to come!" Proctorville, Ohio
